    • Commercial/Billing Information: We use third-party processors (Stripe) to collect and process payment state. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.

    • Customer Content: We collect the files, metadata, and data points you upload or input into AutoArchive.

  • b. Automatically Collected Information:

    • Identifiers & Usage Data: IP addresses, browser type, device identifiers, and clickstream data (how you navigate the platform).

    • Cookies: We use essential, functional, and analytical cookies. You may opt out of non-essential cookies via your browser settings.

  • c. Third-Party Integrations:

    • If you connect AutoArchive to third-party services, we receive authentication tokens and the specific data you authorize that service to share.

2. How We Use Your Information

Beyond basic operations, we process your data for the following "Business Purposes":

  • To Provide the Service: Managing accounts and facilitating features.

  • Product Improvement & R&D: To analyze usage trends and develop new features.

  • De-Identified/Aggregated Data: We may use your data to create anonymized, aggregated datasets for benchmarking or industry reports. This data does not identify you and is no longer Personal Information.

  • Security & Safety: To detect and prevent fraud, spam, or security breaches.

  • Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws or valid legal requests.

3. Sharing and Disclosure

AutoArchive does not sell your Personal Information to third parties. We share data only as follows:

  • Service Providers: Sub-processors who provide hosting (AWS), analytics, or customer support tools, governed by strict Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).

  • Corporate Transactions: In the event of a merger, divestiture, or asset sale, your data may be transferred as a business asset, subject to the same privacy protections.

  • Legal Necessity: To protect our rights, your safety, or to comply with a judicial proceeding or court order.

4. Data Retention

We retain Personal Information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, or as required by law. When data is no longer required, we securely delete or de-identify it.

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Personal Information. This includes AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS/SSL encryption in transit.

Note: While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. AutoArchive cannot guarantee absolute security.

AutoArchive is based in the United States. If you are accessing our Services from the EU or other regions, your data will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. We utilize Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other approved legal mechanisms to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection.

7. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)

Depending on your residency, you may have the following rights:

  • The Right to Delete: Request the deletion of your Personal Information.

  • The Right to Correct: Update inaccurate information.
